Casino.com Casino Review
Hello again! Glad you’re here and ready for another casino review from me, Dave Monk – resident casino reviewer and online slots aficionado here at FreeSpinsNoDepositNoWager.com.
As you may know, I’m a fan of the expression we have her in the UK that goes “it does what it says on the tin”, meaning it’s obvious what you’re getting from what it’s called or what it looks like. Well, when it comes to my favourite pastime of playing at online casinos, a casino that calls itself “Casino.com” should pretty much do what it says on the tin!
Apart from being quick off the mark and registering that appropriate name nearly 20 years ago, can an online casino bold enough to go by that name live up to expectations? Let’s dig a little bit deeper than the name and see what we can find…
Casino.com Casino Games & Slot Machines
I may enjoy the high-tech world of online gambling, but I’m a simple creature at heart and I like a clean and uncluttered website that lets me get to the good stuff quickly with minimum fuss. Casino.com does this really well.
The home page is brilliantly simple (just like me!) and gets the games up front straight away using scrollable ribbon-style listings. There’s a couple for “recommended” and “latest”, then it’s straight to the games.
Casino.com uses the Playtech software to provide its online and downloadable games. Now while a lot of casinos are offering games from several suppliers that can sometimes lead to inconsistent quality – with several casinos trying to outdo each other on who has the most games. Playtech curates everything, and this means every game is the highest quality available, and you can play online or download their casino software to play on PC anytime.
For slot fans like me there are over 215 available, including loads of exclusives and big name tie-ins like Aquaman, Dark Knight Rises, Matrix, Grease and loads more. Finding what you want is ok – there are some filters at the bottom of the page, letting you go straight to games of different types, but on the browser version of Casino.com there’s no search facility. As there are only 200 games I suppose it’s ok to scour through them, but it would be good to have a search option to go to your favourites. This is why the downloadable version is better, and I would recommend you play this way if you’re up for a serious session.
As well as high-quality slots (including the huge progressive jackpot available on Jackpot Giant) there are a really good number of casino table games here. There are currently 54 table games available, and for these the filters at the bottom of the page are a lot more useful, allowing you to go straight to all blackjack games, all roulette, etc. Again, these are all Playtech variants so they are all really nice to play and look good. With a choice of blackjack, Hold ‘Em, roulette, craps, baccarat and more there’s loads here for the table game fans out there. Good job, Casino.com!
Casino.com Live Casino
Let’s face it, any online casino worth its salt these days has to have a good Live table offering. And if you’ve got the nerve to call yourself Casino.com you’d better have a good one!
Well, I’m happy to report that you won’t be disappointed. Casino.com has a good offering of live games, with everything from beginner low-stakes tables up to good high-roller options. There are currently 24 live tables available, and games include variants of Blackjack, roulette, Hold ‘em, Baccarat, and some non-traditional chance games that are good casual fun.
All the live tables I tried worked flawlessly and looked and sounded really good. Again, because Casino.com have gone all-Playtech it means everything works well and is great quality. The live dealers are great company and I enjoyed the banter – it gives a “real casino” feel to playing online.
Because of the small stakes tables and the simple games like HiLo and Spin the Wheel, this is a great choice for live online newbies. You’ll find it really easy to get involved and it’s a very welcoming experience. Top marks here for Casino.com.
So here’s where some casinos fall down. These days we’re all enjoying lashings of data on our phones, and 4G means even the most detailed and complicated games are able to be enjoyed on the move. Despite being around as an actual casino since 2008, Casino.com has made sure it moves with the times – simply visit the site on your mobile phone and you’ll automatically load up the mobile-optimised version of the site.
It works really well, it’s super fast, and if you’ve got a phone that’s less than 2 years old everything flies along and looks great. The menus are all nicely accessible, account information is easy to get to… overall, this is a great way to kill some time on the train, bus, or hiding in the loo at work… oh, that’s just me then, is it?!
Casino.com Bonus & Bonus Spins
Now this is where things get really interesting. Casino.com has a really good bonus offer – but because I was really impressed with the site I’ve managed to blag an exclusive extra spins deals for you, my lovely readers!
Everyone who signs up for a free player account using our special link will get 20 bonus spins – just for opening an account! That’s pretty awesome if you ask me. You can use those spins on any of the very cool Age of the Gods games. Learn more about T&C’s.
But wait, there’s more! When you make your first cash deposit of between £20 and £100 you’ll get a matched bonus of 100% of your deposit, and ANOTHER 180 extra spins. That’s pretty amazing and is one of the best offers I’ve ever been able to blag for NoSpinNoDepositNoWager.com. You’re welcome!
Ok, I thought, so far so good. Maybe too good. It’s bound to fall over on the customer support side. Well, Casino.com has done it again. Any issues, questions or problems, there’s support 24/7/365 from real (and lovely) human beings. And I’m not just talking about email support (which they do offer) but telephone support. They offer both a toll-free UK number AND an international number for those of you that need it. This is great, and I wish more casinos invested in this kind of proper support.
Beyond that, there’s a really clearly written FAQ which answers all of the basic questions you could have. As someone who writes a lot (did you not notice?) I appreciate a well-constructed FAQ – couldn’t have done it better myself! Interestingly, there’s no live chat option. I know it’s all the rage these days, but I must say I do prefer to just pick up the phone – especially knowing they’ll be picking up the tab for the call. Maybe it’s my age…
Depositing funds and collecting all those lovely winnings is easy and straightforward here. You can pay with a big range of payment options including Visa, PayPal, Boku (pay by mobile), Skrill, Paysafecard, Neteller, Citadel Bank Transfer, EntroPay, iDebit, ecoPayz, and direct deposit from your bank account. Phew, I need to rest my fingers after typing all that out.
This is a great range of options and means everyone should find a method that suits them. When it comes to withdrawals, it’s simple. Money goes back to the method you used for depositing. Now I know some people won’t like that, particularly if you’re juggling different methods to reduce transaction fees or for some other reason. I get that, but for the vast majority of us this “keep it simple” approach is ideal.
The other thing they’ve kept simple is withdrawal terms – monthly limit of £15,000 of withdrawals, 3 business days for deposits to arrive. Simple. However, if you reach VIP status then you get an increase to £30,000 maximum per month AND a reduction in payment times to 1-2 business days. Now that’s a nice touch, and a genuine reward for high rollers – get your cash a bit quicker!
So, well done lads. Casino.com really does do what it says on the tin.
