Hello again, it’s Dave here. I’m afraid the city is in danger! The evil Dr Wuten is bent on destroying us. Who can save the day? Why Jack Hammer, the hero cop… Ok, can you tell that I’m really into this comic book themed game? This is one of my favourite themed slots because it’s done so well, and the art style is fantastic.
It’s actually a fairly simple slot under the great graphic, with no progressive jackpots and a fairly standard 25 paylines across 5 reels. Free-spin payouts are pretty impressive, though, and you can play with coin values from €0.01 to €1.00. Those high rollers among you will approve of the maximum bet of €250 a time, and those who prefer to play for cents will still have a great experience. Being a newer game it’s optimised for play on mobile devices, but works equally well in your PC browser.

About the Jack Hammer Slot Machine
Jack Hammer is one of the most popular slot games at the moment, and rightly so in my opinion. It looks great! The reels are designed to look like the square panels of a typical comic strip and the artwork is done really well.
It’s a nicely uncomplicated game, and the number of paylines means it can be played really cheaply if you want to. There’s no ambient soundtrack, but the actual game sound effects are done well and fit the theme nicely.
Jack Hammer features wildcard on the reels – but rather than being some obscure symbol, they are actually the word “Wild” inside a comic book-style “pow”. The wildcard can make an appearance on any reel in any position and acts as you’d expect, acting as a stand-in for any of the other standard symbols.
The other key item to watch for is the equally obviously-named “Free Spin” symbol. On their own, the symbols don’t give you any pay out but you need them to get into the good stuff in the free-spin bonus round. 5 or more of these symbols gets you into the action.
Payout Table and Win Potential
As is pretty standard you need three or more game symbols on a line to trigger a win. There’s nothing very remarkable about the standard payouts – if you get 5 Jack Hammer pictures in a row you’ll win the top pay of 1,000 coins. According to the pay table the next best win is 300 – there’s a nice themed pay table available with a press of a button on the bottom of the machine that goes through all the combinations. Unfortunately there’s no tasty progressive jackpot to chase when you play Jack Hammer, but winnings can multiply up if you get into a free-spin game where there’s up to 75,000 you can get hold of.
Jack Hammer Bonus Features
How do you get into the free-spin goodness? As usual, just get 5 free-spin symbols up on the screen. As soon as you do you’ll be rewarded with 10 spins for your efforts. It’s worth getting these because any wins you get during free spins are paid out in triple compared to the usual win rates. Take that, evil Dr Wutten!
Although it’s not technically a bonus, the game does have a cool “Sticky Win” system which boosts your winning nicely when it activates. The way it works is that if you land a paying combo it gets frozen in place whilst the reels re-spin automatically, giving the possibility of increasing the payout by adding more winning symbols, and then another stick and free-spin and so on.
Game Settings and How To Play Jack Hammer
Like most of the latest video slots you can control most of the features of Jack Hammer with the on-screen menu icons. As well as quick access to the pay table you can mute the volume and can modify settings like sound effects, choose the number of spins in an automatic play sequence, view a history of their paid game, and so on.
So in summary, in my opinion this is one of the best executed of the “themed” games and the great style is used throughout, even in the pay table menu. If you’re a fan of classic comic books or just enjoy really well drawn graphics then you’ll really enjoy the looks and play of Jack Hammer. Thanks goodness the city is safe in the hands of Jack Hammer, special agent…
